Preparedness is best…
Matt’s mom (Gigi) took Sarah and me to get manicures and pedicures this morning.
Gigi picked out a bright pink polish. Sarah picked bright red. I picked… white. (It has a hint of pink, OKAY!!?)
Thankfully, it was a much more relaxing experience than my last manicure. I was not immediately sequestered. Laugh if you want. But I was concerned.
I told Sarah it’s a good thing she was getting her nails done. You never know who you might run into….
Just sayin’. Preparedness is best.
Laughter really has been our best medicine these past few weeks. It’s amazing the comfort God brings, turning fretful tears to laughter and peace. God’s hand in all this is nothing short of extraordinary.
March 2nd, the surgery date, is only five days away. We are excited and anxious. Sarah will be undergoing lots of testing the day before, March 1st. So many of you have been praying and thinking about her. Please continue. Pray for her comfort and peace of mind… and Pat’s. Pray that the tests go smoothly on the 1st. Pray for the surgeon’s hands on the 2nd and that he flawlessly performs the task God has gifted him to perform. Pray for the families that will be waiting anxiously in the waiting room. Pray for Owen and Lynlee while they are away from Pat and Sarah.
Pray miraculous prayers to the God who answers his people miraculously. He’s listening.
Alright… in all probability we won’t run into McDreamy. But if we do… we’re ready.

Praying! Have the 2nd marked on my calender!
Praying. It’s sort of weird. I have 2 other friends having surgery that day. Nothing like the extent of Sarah’s, but still surgery…odd that they are all on that day! Please update when you can!
Oh wow. March 2nd is a big day. I promise to update.
I have and will continue praying.
Angela, I will be praying for you all…If I can do anything to help, please let me know..
Praying!!!
